Seller Best Practice Guidelines Our seller guidelines will give you a roadmap to help convert your site visitors to buyers. Through our recommendations, you’ll deliver a great shopping experience that will keep your visitors coming back. Shop maintenance

  • When uploading to your Art Community store, go for signed, limited edition prints, numbered or one-off original artworks
  • Confirm the accuracy of all listing details as they need to reflect the materials and proper dimensions of the artworks they feature
  • For each listing, upload between 3 and 5 photographs mainly for sculptures etc. The photographs should be free of physical and digital obstructions such as watermarks. This presentation will bring out the feel, colours, and composition of your artwork.
  • Your shipping profile and quotes should be up-to-date and reflect all the possible costs duty included. When shipping, choose a courier which offers a Delivery Duty Paid service.
  • Do not list artworks that outrightly or indirectly violate intellectual property
  • Ensure there is price consistency between your prices on Art Community and the other outlets where you sell
  • If you sell a piece of artwork on both the Art Community and another channel, ensure your stock is updated and reflects the cross-listing. Order Fulfilment
  • Ensure you ship your artworks within the timeframe you state on your listing
  • In case of any delays or difficulties, notify the customer as soon as you learn of them
  • For any order that you are unable to fulfil, you should contact the Art Community immediately so that the customer can get a full refund
  • Ensure you respond as swiftly as possible to any messaging coming through from customers on the Art Community platform
  • Every artwork you ship out should be traceable and any duties for international orders prepaid if possible.

  • All communication with other Art Community members should be relevant, courteous, non-offensive, and free from mass promotional activity. Do not exchange personal contact details on the Art Community platform.
  • You should neither move potential sales to another website nor offline. All sale negotiations should be initiated and concluded on the Art Community platform.
  • Last of all this is a community help it grow by sharing your shop and the website on social media. This will help you and us grow organically on Google.
