Tongues of flame touch the delicate skin of a naked woman. She simultaneously closes herself from the flame and opens up to it. Dances and surrenders to the stream of life. The energetic strokes of a large brush, the impetuous movement captured in the figure, convey the deep cry of the soul about freedom and passion for life. This painting began as an abstraction in 2005, when Annata was travelling as single mom. In Chiang Mai she created her first large oil painting. Layer by layer, feeling color with her fingers, intuitively choosing colors of fiery shades, she transferred her emotions of happiness and boundless freedom to the canvas. In 2020, in the moment of inspiration, the abstract background came to life, acquired meaning expressed through the figure, and the painting became a complete statement. The passion of a realistically depicted female body is emphasized by means of abstract painting, which directly conveys emotions and feelings.
